Bal Patterson is a new member of the Board of Trustees. In this role he’s learning to help oversee the Foundation’s mission to steward the financial resources of the Episcopal Church in Colorado.

Professionally, Bal works part time for the Diocese of Colorado as Missioner for the Front Range Region, as well as caring for a portfolio of vacant church properties across the Diocese. As Missioner, he serves as a pastoral link between the clergy and lay leaders of the Region, the Standing Committee, and the Office of the Bishop; he coordinates Regional administration, projects, initiatives and ministries; convenes Regional meetings to promote collegiality and partnerships; and encourages each congregation to see how God is working in their local neighborhoods.

He is also a Consultant for the Boulder Small Business Development Center, helping entrepreneurs with their business plans, licensing and registration, marketing, and financial management.

Although Bal and Elisabeth live in Arvada, he is a lifelong member of St. Aidan’s in Boulder. In his free time he enjoys traveling, swimming and playing Disc Golf.
