More–than–a–Match 2009

BENEFITING THE HEALTH CARE INSTITUTIONS OF THE EPISCOPAL DIOCESE OF JERUSALEM.
smile

The Diocese of Jerusalem operates four healthcare institutions in some of the most difficult and conflict scourged environments in the region, providing care and services for more than 50,000 people every year. These patients span all ages, from conception to the end of life, receiving comprehensive services from routine checkups to the most complicated and sophisticated surgical procedures.

Common to all the institutions and varied services is one overriding commitment: to provide the best care possible to anyone who needs it, regardless of age, gender, religion, political affiliation, or ability to pay.

DIOCESAN WIDE EFFORT

We invite you to raise funds to add to the $7,000 the Colorado Episcopal Foundation budgeted for the Millennium Development Goals. From bake sales, to car washes, to inter–parish challenges (fishing contests, miniature golf etc.), what can you think up to raise funds and touch the lives of our sisters and brothers in the Diocese of Jerusalem?

YOUR CHURCH CAN HELP

To participate send an email providing all the information requested to office@coef.org and provide the contact for your church, your church and city, how much you pledge to raise and how will you raise the funds.

The deadline for sending the funds to the Foundation is September 25, 2009. Congregations who send their funds by then will be recognized at Diocesan Convention.

Send your check payable to the Colorado Episcopal Foundation to:

Together we can improve the lives of children and women in the very land where our Lord prayed that his followers might be one even as he and his Father are one!
